Staff
Most of our Pathway staff in our child care centre are a RECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator) and all have provided Pathway with a clear and current criminal reference check and an updated immunization record. Our staff members are all qualified with a First Aid/CPR and will soon possess a Health and Safety Certificate. Our staff also attend frequent workshops to keep up with our criteria for Raising the Bar Peel.
Our staff members are always passionate about forming a strong relationship with you and ensure the best experience for your child allowing your child to grow and develop to their full potential.
Students on Placement
Pathway Childcare Centre communicates with Sheridan College and Humber College Early Childhood Education program to place students at Pathway Childcare Centre each year. Students on placement work along with our staff members to provide care and educational programming for our children. Students who are on placement from Sheridan College or Humber College are to provide a current criminal reference check and an updated immunization record. Students on placement are able to gain hands on experience with children and learn through their experiences.
Placements are also provided for secondary school co-op students, who gain first-hand experience with children. Students on placement are not responsible for, and are never left alone with any of our children.
